DXDT Racing Reveals Expansion in IMSA with USALCO

An expanded IMSA effort is revealed with the 2018 partnership announcement with USALCO by DXDT Racing. The Utah based team has unveiled the brand new Mercedes-AMG GT4 at the three day Roar before the Rolex 24 at Daytona test January 5-7, 2018. DXDT is pleased to announce the drivers for a single car effort in 2018 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge (CTSC), for the 56th Rolex 24 at Daytona and the Mobil 1 Twelve hour of Sebring.

DXDT Racing has assembled a championship-winning crew that boasts numerous wins and championships in the IMSA-Sanctioned Lamborghini Super Trofeo series. The team will be setting up shop for the next three months in Florida to set the stage. Driver Development Program Director for DXDT, Aaron Povoledo will partner with team Principal David Askew in co-driving the team’s new Mercedes-AMG GT4. Povoledo is a nationally recognized driver and coach with many years of experience across numerous racing and coaching platforms worldwide.

“This is a significant milestone for DXDT Racing,” said team principal David Askew. “We are building a long term relationship with the manufacturer to bring new customers to experience the dynamic roll out with AMG for an exciting GT4  competitive platform at IMSA.”

The opportunities for DXDT’s 2018 season are tremendous, bringing on board USALCO allows the team to develop a competitive platform for inviting gentleman drivers to acquire a seat for a single race or season. DXDT racing has a history of prestige and proven results, a quality season of action with a four car customer based Lamborghini program with solid podiums in the Lamborghini Tropheo Series.
