Following a podium finish at the Michelin Encore at Sebring at the end of 2018, the driving team of Rod Randall, DJ Randall, and Ken Wilden are back for 2019. Rod Randall and Ken Wilden will pilot the #59 Ford Mustang GT4 with DJ Randall coming on board for the longer 4-hour races.

Dean Martin, team principal, had this to say: “I’m looking forward to 2019. We had good results last year and I expect that we will have more in 2019. I have a great history with Kenny. We had a great race with Rod, DJ, and Kenny at Encore last year. As this season progresses, the team will gel even more, and we'll expect a good result at every event throughout the season. I'm ready to get this thing started!"

“We are excited to be running with Dean and the entire KohR Motorsports team”, Said Rod Randall. “They are all dedicated and hard working with great focus. We are all determined and focused on the details, with goals of great finishes. It is always an honor to run with the true professional Kenny Wilden, and a distinct joy to share the car with my (fast) son DJ.”

Ken Wilden says: " I am very excited to be back racing again with Rod and DJ. For me, this is a reunion of sorts in a couple of different ways. We've had some success racing Mustangs in the past, including a championship in 2009 with Dean. It’s great to be reuniting back with the Ford Mustang and the KohR Motorsports team under Dean’s leadership on the 10-year anniversary season of our championship. How cool would it be to Have a 10th anniversary Championship in the year of the 50th anniversary of IMSA?”

When asked about the specific strategies for success in 2019, drivers and team alike said that they were going to "Focus on the details”.
