Racing to Tackle Sebring

Friday, March 9, 2018

After a successful first round at Daytona International Speedway the Racing team presented by ROWE Motor Oil is heading to Sebring. Making their first trek to the infamous 3.74 mile Sebring International Raceway the team feels that there is plenty of opportunity to improve on their first performance of the season.

The 4 hour season opener saw the team garner a 4th place start and finish; although content with the result they are excited to get out and chase a podium finish.  The #10 Audi was on the move but an early penalty proved to be difficult to recover from. Undeterred by the kinks of a brand-new operation the team believe that there are plenty of positive takeaways from the first event and see potential for the 10 race season.

“Considering the new challenges presented to us at Daytona I feel like we handled everything pretty well. To come out of the first race of the season with the car in good shape and the drivers happy with the progress meant a lot for our team confidence.” said Matt Moran, Team manager and Strategist for Racing. “Our drivers were competitive and fast which was the main goal this weekend, the next step is heading to Sebring and making it to the finish. The nature of Sebring International Raceway could make the 2 hour race just as hard on the car as a 4 hour race elsewhere so finishing without trouble would be a meaningful step towards the podium.”

To view the 2 hour Sebring 120 you can head to on Friday, March 16 at 2:35 p.m. or watch the replay on Fox Sports 1 Sunday, March 25th at 10:30 a.m. The #10 Racing presented by Rowe Motor Oil Audi will be piloted by Kieron O’Rourke and Lee Carpentier. A solid finish in Sebring could help the team carry some momentum on the long break until the next event at Mid-Ohio in May.

The #10 Audi RS3 LMS has been able to have this successful start thanks to the support of our sponsors and ROWE Motor Oil. They would also like to acknowledge the outstanding support from Audi Sport and Audi Genuine Parts, and of course the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge for the outstanding events.
